Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist
Dr Jyothi Shenoi is a Clinical Psychologist with 24 years of post qualification experience, of which the last 17 years have been in a large NHS mental health trust. He is a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and has experience in working with individuals, couples and families presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties.
Dr Shenoi has a special interest in postnatal depression, parenting, personality, family and cultural influences on mental health, and Asperger's syndrome.
He undertakes instructions as an expert witness and can provide psychological assessments on a range of mental health conditions, including:
He also provides parenting assessments, CARE-Index assessments, family functioning assessments, personality assessments and assessments for Autism Spectrum disorders.
Dr Shenoy can provide assessment the psychological effects of domestic violence and substance misuse. His assessments for children cover cognitive functions, mental health and well-being and attachment.
Dr Shenoy has experience in giving evidence in court, including court reports and professional meetings.
