Mr Daryll Baker is a Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospitals and at University College Hospital.

Mr Baker acts as an expert witness, including the preparation of medico-legal reports and appearing in court, in personal injury and clinical negligence cases relating to his specialist areas of expertise. These include:

Venous Disease:

• • Varicose veins
• • DVT (Deep vein thrombosis)
• • Venous ulcers

Arterial Surgery:

• Aortic aneurysm surgery (endovascular repair EVAR and open surgery)
• Mesenteric ischaemia
• Stroke prevention (Carotid endarterectomy)
• Peripheral vascular disease (claudication, by-pass surgery, angioplasty, diabetic foot ulcers and amputations)

General Surgery:

• • General surgical emergencies
• • Hernia surgery

Hyperhidrosis:

• Surgical (thorascopic sympathectomy, compensatory hyperhidrosis) and non surgical management of sweating.
