Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Gillanders is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist who has specialised in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation since 2006. She is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, is registered with the HCPC and is listed on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
Dr Gillanders has written over 80 expert neuropsychological and psychological reports for litigation purposes for the Scottish and English courts. She is routinely instructed by pursuers and defenders and has experience of attending consultations.
She has worked with individuals affected by a range of neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, epilepsy, brain tumour, hypoxia, stroke and progressive neurological conditions. She has worked in acute, post-acute, outpatient and community settings in the NHS, as well as in private practice.
