Mr Andrew Jenkinson is a consultant surgeon at UCLH, a large central London teaching hospital, and has 21 years post fellowship surgical experience in the field of laparoscopic upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery.

Mr Jenkinson is a trained expert witness and acts in personal injury and alleged clinical negligence cases relating to his clinical areas of expertise. These include:

• Laparoscopic surgery
• Bariatric surgery and weight loss surgery
• Obesity surgery, gastric bypass and mini-gastric bypass
• Sleeve gastrectomy and gastric band
• Hernia - inguinal, abdominal wall, incisional, umbilical and sports hernia
• Gallbladder surgery – cholecystectomy, gallstones
• Anti-reflux surgery – fundoplication, hiatus hernia, acid reflux, heartburn
• Emergency surgery – appendix, perforated ulcer, trauma

Mr Jenkinson provides a full range of expert advice from second opinions and screening reports to formal medicolegal reporting of causation and prognosis.
