Mr Debashis Ghosh is a consultant breast surgeon specialising in the treatment of breast disease and breast cancer, performing cosmetic breast surgery and breast cancer surgery (oncoplastic & reconstructive surgery). He works out of the following hospitals:
Mr Ghosh is the clinical lead in breast surgery at The Royal Free London Breast Unit, considered one of the leading breast units in the world; he performs around 200 breast cancer operations per annum. Mr Ghosh is Chair of the MDT for the Royal Free whereby he is involved in around 1000 MDT discussions of breast cancer cases per annum.
He is actively involved in breast surgery research including the pioneering use of a portable gamma camera for sentinel node biopsies. As a member of the Breast Team of the Royal Free and UCL medical School, he is involved in trials in the use of intraoperative radiothearapy, radioactive iodine and seed localisation.

Mr Ghosh is the Co Chair of the MDT at Harley Street Clinic that deals with cases nationally and internationally and is attended by the leading specialist in oncology ,clinical oncology, pathology and surgery. He is widely published, for a list of publications please see attached CV.
Mr Ghosh undertakes around four medicolegal reports a month. He has undertaken Bond Solon training in Excellence in Report Writing, Courtroom Skills, Cross-Examination, Civil Law and Procedure.
