Mr Richard Linforth is a Consultant Breast Surgeon specialising in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
He undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of Liability and Causation reports, Condition and Prognosis reports and appearing in court, in cases relating to his specialist areas of expertise. These include:
Mr Linforth has attended the medico-legal expert training workshop in York provided by Jonathan Dingle FRSA and Judith Kelbie LLP in 2015, followed by the more extensive Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Accreditation Scheme consisting of 5 days of intense training on Civil law and procedures (completed Sep 2018), Expert report writing (Dec 2018), Courtroom skills training - Witness familiarisation (Dec 2018) and Cross examination (Feb 2019).
He has received instruction from Bevan Brittan LLP, DAC Beachcroft LLP, Mellor Hargreaves LLP, TMLEP, Premex and the MDU, KSlaw, NHS Resolution and others.
Mr Linforth can act on behalf of either claimant, defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
