His areas of specialist expertise include:

• Ethnic and religion-based extremism, including antisemitism, Holocaust denial and anti-Muslim prejudice
• Ideological radicalisation, political violence and online extremism
• History and development of hate incidents and attacks
• Transnational, Small cell and self-initiated (‘lone wolf') terrorism
