Specialist Neuropsychologist
Mr Alptekin Aydin is a specialist neuropsychologist and Certified TMS Practitioner who specialises in Neuromodulation Interventions. He has achieved the CUBS certificate (Cardiff University Bond Solon) in Civil Law. Furthermore, he is a member of the following bodies: British Psychological Society (BPS), British Neuroscience Association (29905087), British Association for Psychopharmacology and International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP).
Mr Aydin undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of expert reports and giving opinion to the courts, in cases related to his particular areas of expertise.
His clinical work is diverse and covers assessment and therapy for children, adults and minority ethnic groups for a wide range of conditions. He has expertise in administering and interpreting a wide range of tests, including but not limited to IQ, Memory Personality, Suggestibility, Alcohol and Substance Addiction, Post-traumatic Stress, Depression, Emotional Functioning, Risk and Psycho-pathology.
As a Certified Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) practitioner, Mr Aydin has completed the International Clinical TMS Certification programme. In addition to court instructed expert reports, he has been offering TMS for individuals who have special needs such as autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
