Julian is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Project Manager with over 25 years experience within the property and construction industry across the public and private sectors. Julian has completed the RICS accredited Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence and has prepared numerous CPR compliant expert witness reports either as a Single Joint Expert or Sole Expert for Claimant or Defendant. Julian has a reputation for a fair and reliable approach to determining liability in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and RICS Practice Statement. Julian’s reports are thorough and clearly drafted so as to aid the Court with the resolution of the dispute.
Being a Chartered Building Surveyor and Registered Valuer, Julian is also able to advise on Cost of Repair and Diminution in Value associated with any given claim.
Prior to forming Record Associates, Julian was a Director in Deloitte’s Construction advisory business and Partner at Drivers Jones with responsibility for the Project Management and Building Consultancy practice across the Midlands.
