Law Society endorses investigators' association

Your Expert Witness law societyThe Law Society has endorsed the Association of British Investigators as an organisation that “…offers solicitors peace of mind when choosing investigative service suppliers”.

According to a statement issued by the Law Sociaty on 7 May: “Recognising the extent to which the association has gone to protect members’ clients, including a large number from within the legal profession, the Law Society has granted the association its endorsement.

“The Association of British Investigators is now recognised as the premier professional body for private investigators working in the UK and beyond. A non-profit organisation, its national and international membership provides credibility and due diligence.

“Firms which need to engage litigation support services, whether investigative or simply to serve process, need to be assured they are outsourcing to an accredited agency with tested competency, probity, accountability and reliability. The association has worked hard to improve the standing and reputation of the investigative professional and insists on carefully selecting each and every member.”
