Caroline’s dual qualification gives her the edge in personal injury litigation

Caroline Kerr, a senior solicitor at law firm Hart Brown, has qualified for the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme.

Caroline joined the personal injury team at Hart Brown in 2008. She originally qualified and worked as a doctor (specialising in anaesthetics), before retraining as a solicitor, and has a Master’s degree in Medical Law and Ethics. She now has extensive experience of a broad range of personal injury and clinical negligence claims.

The head of the personal injury department at Hart Brown, Paul Grimwood, commented: “We are delighted that Caroline’s expertise, experience and dedication to her clients have been recognised in this way. She is a valued member of our specialist personal injury and clinical negligence team.

“As well as having a very good ‘bedside manner’ with clients, Caroline’s medical background means that not only does she have an in-depth understanding of a wide range of injuries and conditions and their complications, but she also has practical experience of what happens on a day-to-day basis in hospitals and GP practices, which is particularly useful when dealing with medical negligence claims.”
