Orthotic Clinical Specialist
Mr Seccombe’s clinical practice focuses on orthotic treatment for orthopaedic and neurological conditions, supported by experience gained in London, Dublin, Norway, and Sheffield. As Chief Clinical Officer for a global healthcare company, Mr Seccombe continues to practise clinically within both the NHS and private sector.
Previously, Mr Seccombe served as UK General Manager, with national responsibility for the clinical services delivered by one of the UK’s largest orthotic and prosthetic rehabilitation providers to the NHS. Mr Seccombe has also held the role of National Clinical Lead, with extended-scope experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal and brain injuries.
Mr Seccombe is the primary or secondary author of national evidence-based treatment pathways, biomechanical education modules, and educational resources for Allied Health Professionals.
Mr Seccombe is compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and provides Orthotic expert reports for personal injury and clinical negligence matters relating to foot, ankle and lower limb conditions and injuries. The current split of work is Claimant 65%, Defendant 25%, SJE 10%.

Fees, Timescale and Location
Report fees are fixed. Waiting time is 1 week in Sheffield and up to 6 weeks in London.
The completed report is available within five weeks of the consultation. A £500 surcharge is applied if the report needs to be ‘fast tracked’ to meet a sooner date.
In addition home visits can be accommodated if this is deemed to be preferable, for which there is an additional travelling charge.
