Mr Say Aun Quah is a former senior NHS Consultant Ophthalmologist and Clinical Lead at East Cheshire NHS Trust. He retired from NHS practice in 2022 and now works exclusively in the private sector across the North West of England and North Wales. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed papers, authored two book chapters, and presented at major international ophthalmology meetings. He is an active member of multiple recognised ophthalmic societies.
Mr Quah has been preparing medico legal reports since 2011 and produces approximately 20–30 reports each year. His expert witness work spans personal injury and clinical negligence cases involving general ophthalmology, oculoplastics, ocular trauma, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery (laser and lens based). His claimant:defendant ratio is approximately 60:40.
Reports are typically completed within 1–2 months of receiving all relevant documentation or following examination of the client, where required. Expedited reports may be possible by prior arrangement.
Mr Quah accepts instructions on behalf of claimants, defendants, or as a Single Joint Expert.
