Dr Andrew Millar has extensive experience as an expert witness having written over 500 reports - with 95% for the claimant, 4-5% for the defendant and some joint reports. He holds the Bond Solon Cardiff University Expert Witness Certificate 2007 with updated training on CPR Civil Law and Procedure in February 2020.
Dr Millar has a wide experience of gastroenterology, endoscopy and hepatology. He is particularly interested in the early diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancer, endoscopy, pancreatic and biliary disease, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, including the consequences of gastrointestinal infections, particularly Post-Infective Irritable Bowel syndrome (PI-IBS).
He has extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy. As a result of a reduction in NHS sessions in April 2024 he no longer carries out complex therapeutic procedures such as ERCP.
Endoscopic and other investigations can be carried out, if required, for the provision of legal reports.
