Dr Hina Rauf
Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Hina Rauf has been working as a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist since 2018. She has held NHS posts since 2006 and has been working with psychiatry experts since 2019. She is fully registered with the General Medical Council.
Dr Rauf has worked with a wide range of ages and from varying cultural backgrounds. She has also worked with a diverse range of conditions including Learning Difficulties, Depression, Anxiety, OCD and Psychosis with a special interest in the assessment, diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental disorders such as ASD and ADHD.
She is approved by the Secretary of State under Section (12) of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended by the Mental Health Act 2007) in having special expertise and knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.
Dr Rauf has undertaken expert witness instructions in cases before both the Civil and Criminal Courts as well as in Fitness to Practise and other tribunals. She can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
