Dr Uliana Durnea is a Consultant Obstetrician specialising in the following areas:

• Intrapartum care, electronic fetal monitoring, and labour management
• Medical problems in pregnancy, including:
• Rheumatology, haematology, cardiovascular, neurology, renal, hepatic, oncology, infections and endocrine disorders
• High-risk pregnancy complications:
• Pre-eclampsia, placental insufficiency and fetal growth restriction
• Instrumental birth and Caesarean section
• VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean Section)
• Twin pregnancy management and Birth
• Breech birth and External Cephalic Version (ECV)
• Preterm birth prevention, investigation, and antenatal care
• Stillbirth prevention, investigation, and bereavement support

Dr Durnea undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of medico legal reports and giving evidence in court, in clinical negligence cases relating to all of these areas of expertise.
