Consultant Physician and Haematologist
Professor Atul Mehta was appointed as a Consultant Haematologist to the Royal Free Hospital in November 1986. He retired from the NHS in January 2019 but continues in private practice. He works closely with an associate who is in active NHS practice.
He has been undertaking medico-legal work for over 20 years in personal injury and clinical negligence cases relating to his specialist areas of expertise, including:
Professor Mehta is experienced at giving evidence in court and can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
