Dr Syed Saboor has been a Respiratory Consultant in the UK since 1996. He has over 44 years of experience and a special interest in respiratory conditions including COPD, asthma, lung cancer, pleural diseases, sleep apnoea and intestinal lung disease.
Dr Saboor has been involved in assessing coal miners, textile industry workers (Byssinosis) and COPD sufferers in coal mining. He also has expertise in dealing with asbestos related lung disease such as pleural plaques, asbestos related pleural thickening, malignant pleural effusion and mesothelioma as well as assessing patients with occupational asthma and bronchopulmonary aspergillo.
He undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of medico legal reports and giving evidence in court, in personal injury and clinical negligence cases relating to all of these areas of expertise.
Dr Saboor has practising privileges at Circle Health Hospitals in North London and Spire London East Hospital where he can see and assess patients and carry out necessary investigations. Turnover time is fairly short and medical reports can be provided in 4 - 6 weeks time.
