Mr Ahid Abood is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 25 years experience in plastic surgery. He has been a Consultant for fourteen years, ten of which were in the role of Clinical Lead for Major Trauma Reconstruction at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. This is the Major Trauma Centre for the East of England. Alongside these clinical commitments he has been the divisional lead for audit and governance, helping to oversee the delivery of high quality and safe care to patients.

Mr Abood regularly produces medico-legal reports and has undertaken personal injury and clinical negligence claims for both claimants, defendants and as a Single Joint Expert in cases relating to all of these areas. He has provided reports for the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman and the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.
