Professor Adnan Sharif is a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and an Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham.
He has been a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) since 2005 and attained Fellowship status in 2019. He is also a registered member of the UK Kidney Association, the British Transplantation Society, the European Renal Association, the American Society of Transplantation and the European Society for Organ Transplantation.
Professor Sharif undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of medico legal reports and giving evidence in court, in personal injury and clinical negligence cases relating to:
His reports cover breach of duty, causation, condition and prognosis as well as life expectancy. He is also experienced in healthcare aspects related to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Professor Sharif can act on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
Medical examinations can be undertaken either face to face or online and home visits are available.
