Dr Katie Thomas undertakes medico-legal instructions as an expert GP in all cases relating to general practice (NHS and private) excluding those involving minor surgery, contraceptive coil and implant fitting, and out of hours care.
She is currently working as a portfolio GP to include regular NHS sessional GP work, and private GP work, on the back of over 15 years' experience as a GP partner in South West England.
Dr Thomas is a highly qualified GP, having passed Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners at distinction level. She has excellent communication skills and also holds a BSc degree in psychology.
She has a thorough understanding of GP expert witness work having achieved the University of Strathclyde Inspire Medilaw Expert Witness Certification. She can produce reports in approximately three weeks.
Dr Thomas is ICO registered, has appropriate indemnity and follows GDPR compliance regulations.
