Consultant Gynaecologist
Mr Nitish Narvekar is a London-based Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than 30 years’ experience in the management of a broad range of gynaecological and reproductive conditions.
He specialises in reproductive medicine and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, undertaking a high volume of advanced robotic, laparoscopic, open, and hysteroscopic procedures across several NHS and private organisations and care settings. He also offers advanced one-stop diagnosis of pathology that may have been missed previously in other clinics and healthcare sectors.
Mr Narvekar is committed to delivering ‘excellence through precision’ and provide specialist care for women with endometriosis, including complex excision surgery, fibroids, uterine septum and other congenital anomalies, fertility problems, recurrent miscarriage, menstrual disorders, chronic pelvic pain, and complex obstetric surgical conditions such as abdominal cerclage, placenta accreta spectrum (PAS), and uterine trauma.
As Clinical Lead for the BSGE-accredited endometriosis centres at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and London Bridge Hospital, HCA Healthcare UK, he leads a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a discreet and compassionate environment.
Alongside clinical practice, he is actively involved in research, medical education, training, examination, and mentoring the next generation of specialists. He has held a number of leadership roles, including Clinical Director of Women’s Services at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Narvekar serves as an independent medicolegal expert, preparing a substantial volume of reports on behalf of both Claimant and Defendant (30/70% split), centred on his areas of medicolegal expertise which include infertility and fertility treatments, surrogacy, general gynaecology and gynaecological surgery, surgical complications and injuries, miscarriage and ectopic pregnancies, and caesarean section deliveries and complications. In all cases, opinions are clear, balanced, evidence-based and compliant with his overriding duty to the court.
