Professor Sandip Hindocha is an award-winning plastic surgeon based across the UK - including Harley Street (London), Bedford, Luton, Northampton, Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside. Together with his expert team, he delivers outstanding clinical care tailored to every individual.
As the national lead forensic medical examiner, Professor Hindocha brings a meticulous attention to detail honed through both surgical practice and legal expertise. He provides impartial, evidence-based expert opinion across a range of medicolegal cases.
He provides independent medical expert witness services for claimants and defendants in clinical negligence, personal injury and related civil proceedings, providing authoritative opinions on standard of care, causation, liability and damages that courts can rely upon.
Professor Hindocha accepts instructions on behalf of both claimants and defendants. His work covers the full range of expert witness duties - from written reports addressing liability and causation through to prognosis, quantum of damages and oral testimony at trial. Each instruction is handled with the rigour, objectivity and procedural compliance that civil proceedings demand.
His background as a practising consultant plastic surgeon gives his opinions a clinical authority grounded in current specialist practice. He is familiar with the courts' expectations of expert witnesses, and his reports consistently comply with CPR Part 35, the associated Practice Direction and the GMC's guidance on acting as an expert.
